So everyone seems to know Taz Arnold but you mustn't forget about Shafiq Husayn, and the great Om'Mas Keith [my personal favorite]. Who are these three men? They are the great, almighty, SA-RA Creative Partners, a trio of producers, executives, and musicians formed in the late 90s. If you haven't heard they've finally released their full length LP, Nuclear Evolution: The Age of Love. I tell you one thing....definitely a must have.

Someone Has To Care

I've never been the biggest fan of The Roots but I think their latest single has officially changed my mind. If you haven't heard their new release [How I Got Over] then I think it's time to open up your eyes and ears and take a gander. Be on the lookout for their new album [also titled How I Got Over] coming sometime soon this year.

It Has Finally Arrived

Weeks ago I set off on a mission to ebay in search of one item and one item only....A denim jacket. After rummaging through dozens and dozens of ill fitting, 80's stone wash trash [definitely not any mans treasure] I finally found the one that fits me best. The description read, "brand new men's levis denim jacket. small. slim trucker style." I couldn't of been happier. I waited till the last minute to bid and went to war with some dude attempting to outbid me. Luckily, my account had just a tad more bank roll, making me the victor. In the end I ended up paying 30 bucks for the jacket. I went to the levis website and noticed that the retail price was 89.50. Now I have no idea where the seller got [stole] the jacket from, but someone else's lose is definitely my gain.

A New Addition

What's better than a three piece alt rap group? A FOUR piece alt rap group with a chick! N E R D has recently announced that they have added a new addition to their group. Classically trained vocalist, Rhea, has decided to join N E R D for their upcoming album [Instant Gratification] set to release sometime in 2010. My one hope is that things don't get to poppy cheesy i.e. Black Eyed Peas. Yes, I disagree with a lot of what they're doing now and days. And if I see Pharell throw up the double V's one more time I'm going to cut my f^*%!@+ fingers off. But I digress....

Gotta Love That Good Hair

Have you ever wonder what black women [and some men] actually go through to get their hair oh so silky smooth? Surprise surprise, it doesn't happen naturally. Comedian Chris Rock gives us guys [and everyone NOT black] a closer look into the "good hair" phenomenon. Featuring the likes of Nia Long, Raven Symone, Maya Angelou, and even Reverend Al Sharpton, Chris Rock presents us with an entertaining yet serious documentary based upon one question...."Daddy, how come I don't have good hair?"

Now I'm not French, but I know good graphic design when I see it. Jean Jullien is a French graphic artist creating simple, eccentric masterpieces from here to London. He utilizes photography, video, costumes, installations, books, posters, and clothing to express his art form, showing the world what he's all about.

Sorry Kids, Fame Kills

If you have your hopes and bank acccounts ready for the Lady Gaga x Kanye Fame Kills tour then I'm sorry to tell you that it has indeed been CANCELLED. Just recently [like today] it was announced that the tour would not be reaching a beggining, coming to an end before the show could even kick off. The reason for the cancellation was not revealed but some say it may be do to his actions at the VMA's. My heart isn't in too much distress but I'm sure a few of you have one question on your mind for the electro duo....How could you be so heartless?
